Electronics maker Syrma SGS is in talks with German, Japanese and Taiwanese firms to source from its upcoming PCB facilities in India, as customers rebalance away from China. MD J.S. Gujral said the Centre’s ECMS 2.0 push could catalyse ₹7,000–10,000 crore of investments across new PCB sites and replace 25–30% of India’s ₹40,000-crore annual PCB imports in the first phase—marking a major step-up in local component value-add for auto, industrial/energy and automation hardware.
