New Unicommerce data shows India’s Diwali 2025 e-commerce season delivered a 24% jump in order volumes and 23% rise in GMV. Quick-commerce apps were the standout story, with a 120% surge in orders as consumers used 10–30 minute deliveries for sweets, snacks, beverages and last-minute gifts. Tier II and III cities drove 55% of all orders, signalling deepening digital adoption beyond metros. FMCG categories, from fusion mithai to millet-based namkeens, were among the biggest beneficiaries.
