Tata Electronics has signed an MoU with Intel to make and package Intel products in India—at Tata’s upcoming Dholera (Gujarat) fab and Jagiroad, Assam OSAT. The deal names Intel as Tata’s first major customer for its ~$14 bn semiconductor foray and includes plans to scale AI PC solutions for the Indian market.
