India could have an end-to-end homegrown solar manufacturing chain within the next few years, says ReNew CEO Sumant Sinha. He cites policy push and new investments (including plans in Andhra Pradesh) spanning wafers/ingots to cells, modules and BoS, aimed at cutting China dependence. Sinha adds that backward integration and tech upgrades will be key as the industry scales.
