The India–UAE CEPA has turned the UAE into India’s fast-lane re-export hub, with tariff cuts and simpler rules of origin speeding non-oil trade toward a $100-billion goal by 2030. New logistics pipes—think Bharat Mart/Dubai JAFZA linkages—and easier customs are shifting electronics, gems-jewellery, pharma and food traffic through Dubai for quicker GCC/Africa reach. Both governments say CEPA is boosting SME access and trimming landed costs, even as they fine-tune precious-metal routes to curb arbitrage.
