TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has signed an MoU with Italy-based ALA Group to jointly chase opportunities in India’s fast-growing aerospace and defence supply chain market (estimated around $28 billion).
The partnership is aimed at building an end-to-end, compliance-heavy logistics + procurement platform that can support both production programmes and the aftermarket/MRO lifecycle, covering spares distribution, inventory optimisation, defence-grade logistics engineering and regulated, mission-critical operations.
TVS SCS will bring its India footprint and experience from UK defence/utility programmes, while ALA contributes global aerospace domain expertise and OEM relationships; ALA reported $345 million revenue in 2024, and TVS SCS says its aerospace/defence/utilities vertical generates roughly $140 million annually.
A key unlock the companies are targeting is offset-led localisation, where global primes need credible Indian partners to meet local sourcing requirements.
